Austin FC Experience
This past summer, I had the pleasure of attending the Austin FC experience! If you know me, you know I love sports and being competitive. I was wrapping up a busy Monday and had no idea what was in store for this event.
Once I arrived, we were told to go into the locker room and find a backpack with our names on it. The bag was filled with Austin FC gear: a soccer ball, an authentic jersey, an additional t-shirt, and a $50 gift card that we could use towards Austin FC swag. Once we got on the field, we did a warm-up with the Austin FC players and experienced a ton of drills that the Austin FC team uses at practice.
I imagined the exercises would be light and easy for whatever reason, but they gave me a run for my money! Luckily, C4 Energy was the sponsor for the event and their drink gave me the energy I needed to withstand the remainder drills.
It was a lot of fun, and I was honored to participate in an event with a phenomenal organization! The Austin FC team is currently in the playoffs and scheduled to play this Sunday, October 24 at 7:00 pm CST! They have been on fire all season long and I cannot wait to see them score another victory! #VERDE
